Dreams Maketh Futures

Dreams. These are the things we hope to achieve, the person as we hope to become. These dreams of ours are what drive us to achieve what we want in life. Dreams are kinda like the schematics, the paths, the guides that can make our futures brighter. Your dreams can make your future. Our dreams can guide us into making our futures a successful and a wonderful one. Let's say that you want be a doctor. You're dreaming of being a doctor, so you're gonna do your best to be a doctor. You're gonna try to get high grades and to be excellent in school, just so that you can be a doctor. You're gonna do everything it takes to be a doctor, and you're not gonna give up until you reach your dream. See what I mean? Your dreams can make your future. Think about this. Dreaming is already similar to planning to your future. You're already planning what you want to be, when you want to be that, why you want to be that. Like I've stated earlier, dreams are your blueprin

High School Day ; Yay or Nay?

High School Day; the celebration of the foundation of our school. This event, for me, is the only one I kinda enjoy, and I actually get to participate fully. The question is, is the High School Day a Yay, or a Nay? This is my insight on this Year's HS Day. This year's HS Day, was, interesting. I'm gonna have to be blunt here and say that this year's HS Day was quite normal. Though he day was uneventful, most of the field demos were fun to watch. So many people complained about this year's rendition, but I cannot complain. I know that they can make next year's event better. It was kind of enjoyable. The happiness that this year gave was just a 7 second smirk. It quickly faded away. Props to the organizers for giving their best, but it can be improved. To be honest, the preparation was more fun than the event itself. For me, the HS Day is not a Nay or a Yay, it is NEUTRAL. it was fun, but there were parts that were not fun. I hope that next year

Insights on Kannawidan 2019 ; Yay or Nay?

It's that time of the year again, where we celebrate the separation of Ilocos Sur and Norte by being merry for the whole festival. This is my insight, on Kannawidan 2019. Kannawidan was super jam-packed this year. I normally don't have an interest IN Kannawidan, but this year's festivities were too good not to miss. Star-studded guests performed, new activities emerge and memorable moments were made. Clearly, they've cranked up the production level up by bringing big names to the table; December Avenue and Unique Salonga, just to name  a few. The quality of events have gotten way higher and way more enjoyable. Tourists and people from other parts of the country even came to see what Kannawidan was all about, and judging by their faces and reactions, they had an amazing time. Props to the Governor and everyone who organized this huge festival. Overall, Kannawidan was a great success this year. This year's Kannawidan was a BIG YAY! Perfect events, perfect star g

Should The New Year Change You?

"New Year, New Me." A trend (I like to call it a trend) that circulates the world, the web; basically everywhere whenever the start of a new year comes around. People say that they'll change a part of themselves, but I've noticed that only some people do that change. This is the equivalent of the New Year's Resolution. The only difference of this and the NYR is that a miniscule amount of people keep their "New Year, New Me" promises, while none actually complete their Resolution. I don't hate on this trend, but it's kinda just an excuse for someone to do something productive or to be productive and responsible in general. Now, about my title. Should we only let the New Year change us? Is the New Year the only time we can change ourselves? Why not change yourself now, instead of waiting for the new year to come? I'm sure that the long time frame of waiting will be more than enough for you to change yourself. Again, not saying that I hate N

Change Always Begins With You

Change. 5 letters. A word that is easily pronounced, but is hard to do. Change. To become different. To become something else. Change. Why do people change? How do you change? Change happens, whether we like it or not. It's a never ending cycle in our world. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening around us, or to participate and lead it. Changes are taking place on all levels, from simple to complex; whether the minuscule transformations of our brain cells to the political crises unfolding around the world. Some changes we can manage, some we can influence, but realistically, most are outside our control. Change always starts in you. No one can change you but yourself. Unless if you don't change the bad habits you're constantly doing, it's always gonna stay like that. If you want to do something good for yourse

The Wonderful Adventures of Reading

Reading; to look at and understand words, passages, phrases, etc. It's something that you can do at anytime, any place, anyway. It's something that can help you in understanding a plethora of knowledge. It's something that's easy to do, with many benefits, yet we still don't it a lot. "Pagbasa: Susi sa Magandang Kinabukasan". This is the theme of this year's English Month. It focuses on reading and how it is a key to a wonderful future. I am not of reading, and to be honest, I don't do a lot. I kinda regret not reading a lot. If I read, it's probably for a Leisure Reading Report or I'm just very interested in that particular article/magazine/book etc. Other than those reasons, I don't read. I don't read a lot but you should. Reading is very helpful. When you need knowledge for something, read. When you need something to do so that you won't get bored, read. When you need something to cheer you up when you're sad or to ta
