I am a student, writing you a letter to say thank you. The past years of you being the President of this country has been a tremendous help to us. You have controlled and fixed a lot of major problems and situations and I commend you for that.        You are one of the people in my life that I look up to. You are such an inspiration to us and one day, I hope to be like you someday. Though you have a lot of bad traits, you have a lot of good ones too. I commend you for the things that you have done for us and though a lot of people hate what you are doing, I support it, because I think that what you are doing for the sake of us will be a benefit to the country. Independence Day, Araw ng Kalayaan, they look different, but have only one meaning: the celebration of our freedom from the invaders of our country. But why do we celebrate it? Is it because it's a non-working holiday? Is it because we are free to do whatever we want on that day? Or is it because of something much larger, much more important than these things? What is independence? Independence is  a condition of a nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. It's about freedom. Freedom from everything.
