Teachers Need Love Too

Teachers' Day, the day where we make our beloved teachers feel truly special. Don't they deserve it, after everything they've done to former students and to us? Of course. Every human, including teachers, deserve happiness. But why do we need to show them appreciation? Isn't listening to what they say and saying "goodbye and thank you ma'am/sir" enough?

Well, it's up to you. If you think that's enough, then I won't force you to do anything. For me, it's far from enough. Teachers need to be treated like they're royalty. They're really special. Imagine if teachers didn't exist. If teachers didn't exist, then other jobs would never exist too. Teachers are the reasons why there are architects, scientists, doctors, lawyers and every other important job out there.

Yes, teachers are very strict and hard on you, but that's for your own good. Like or hate it, you have to realize that almost everything they're doing are not for themselves, it's for us. Granted, there are teachers who don't care about their students and just go to their schools to time in, time out and to get their paychecks, but most teachers are not like that. Granted, teachers are always giving you assignments and projects that seem impossible at first, but they're doing that to train us for harder tasks in life.

Teachers, one of the hardest jobs to do, and yet they still carry on even if they're being treated like trash and they're struggling to do everything at once. Can't we just sacrifice a moment of time to make them happy?

They really deserve a break from the problems they have, even if it's just for a short period. At least we can make them forget about every bad thing that's going on in their lives. Teachers are humans too, like us. If you hate them because you think they're overworking you, stressing you, and depriving you, well, think about what they have to go through everyday.

They're just like us students too. They struggle too. They cry too. They get overworked too. They go to school everyday, to teach a lot of students in a long period of time. Isn't that similar to our daily routines?

Gurong Pilipino; Turo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko. Just by reading that, you know that they're really important. We complain about them giving us SO MANY ASSIGNMENTS, BUT IT'S FOR OUR FUTURE. Yes, it's hard, but nothing is easy in this world. Let us all appreciate our teachers. Give them what they truly deserve: eternal happiness.

I'm really thankful for the teachers who taught me about a plethora of knowledge. They've been a big help to me. I feel like we haven't paid them enough gratitude, and it's time we do it, in a big way.

So, are you ready to make your teachers happy?

Post-It Reaction: The State Of The Nation Address 2018

The president has released another bombardment of statements in the form of the SONA, The State of The Nation Address. Once again, I am here to share my thoughts and opinions on what our dear president has said during the said event. There are a lot of good points that he has said and I would just like to give a reaction. The biggest statement that he has said that everyone is talking about is "Your concern is human rights, my concern is human lives." Now, what he said was right and wrong. Right in the sense that he actually cares about human lives but wrong in the sense that he doesn't care about human rights. He needs to focus on these both, as him actually not giving a damn about human rights is actually damaging his and the country's reputation. The most ear-catching moment was when I heard that he wants to create a new department, called the Department of Disaster Management, which is for me, an amazing idea. Think of this, a department that actuallt helps out

Day Of Independence: The Day Of Being Free

Independence Day, Araw ng Kalayaan, they look different, but have only one meaning: the celebration of our freedom from the invaders of our country. But why do we celebrate it? Is it because it's a non-working holiday? Is it because we are free to do whatever we want on that day? Or is it because of something much larger, much more important than these things? What is independence? Independence is  a condition of a nation, country, or state in which its residents and population, or some portion thereof, exercise self-government, and usually sovereignty, over the territory. It's about freedom. Freedom from everything. (http://firsttimetravels.com/taal-city-birthplace-of-the-maker-of-the-first-philippine-flag/) When this question was asked, I was left thinking about something that I didn't know I would be thinking of. I've been celebrating Independence Day since I was a little kid, but up to now, I still don't know why we celebrate it. I don't know why
